We all know how important it is to plan our finances, but it can be tricky to know where to start. Pensions can be particularly difficult, with many of us now having retirement savings in multiple different places.

The pensions industry is working on an important initiative to help with that: pensions dashboards.

These online tools will show you all your pension savings in one place, so you can see what they could all add up to when you retire. Please note that dashboards won’t show pensions in payment – they’re targeted at people who haven’t yet retired.

If you want to make the most of pensions dashboards when they arrive, it’s important to make sure your personal details are up to date wherever you have your money saved. You can log in to MyPension to check we hold the right information for your Scheme membership.

The systems required for the dashboards to work are still being tested as schemes (including ours) begin to connect to the central hub, but we’ll let you know when the first dashboards are available for public use.
