Nothing for you to do at this stage as HR will let the Administration Team know you are commencing maternity / paternity / parental / adoption leave.
Your record will be updated to reflect the fact you are on maternity / paternity / parental / adoption leave.
At the appropriate time HR will be talking to you about returning to work. Once you have decided what you are doing HR will let the Administration Team know.
Your record will be updated to reflect the fact that you have returned to work. Your record will also reflect any changes to your working hours (for example if you decide to change to part-time hours).
If you decide not to return to work, you will generally be treated as if you left Service on the latter of 18 weeks after the date your maternity leave or statutory maternity pay ceases.
