Contributions and AVCs

Membership of the DB Section is non-contributory. The Company is responsible for paying the whole amount required to provide the benefits promised by the DB Section and its administration costs.

If you are currently an Active member you can choose to pay Additional Voluntary Contributions (AVCs) to increase the benefits you will receive. You can find more information about paying AVCs in the How Do I? section of this website.
